H.E. Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni President of the Republic of Uganda established the State House Investors Protection Unit (SH-IPU) in his unwavering commitment to create a conducive environment for Investors by safeguarding them from corrupt practices and unnecessary bureaucracies. The unit was officially announced on May 1, 2023, during the Labor Day celebrations held at Namutumba district headquarters.
In Uganda, investor protection goes hand in hand with education and empowerment. The government is committed to providing the investment community, both local and foreign, with the knowledge and resources needed to make informed decisions. This dedication to investor education is a testament to Uganda's commitment to safeguarding the interests of those who choose to invest in the country.
