SHIPU SUCCESSFULLY MEDIATES REAL ESTATE DISPUTE, FOSTERING INVESTMENT CONFIDENCE

mediation

Today at SHIPU, we successfully mediated a dispute between Mr. Gibbs Kibwola and Mr. Farouk Kisambira, an indigenous investor in real estate development.

SHIPU’s intervention arose from a year-long disagreement over the sale of a condominium property valued at UGX 250 million in Kira Municipality, Wakiso District. After a protracted discussion, we assisted the two parties in exploring options, ultimately enabling them to reach a mutually agreeable resolution.

The negotiations this afternoon reaffirmed that mediation not only saves time and legal costs but also fosters a conducive environment for investment. By facilitating amicable settlements, SHIPU continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening investor confidence and ensuring a thriving business landscape.

As SHIPU, we remain committed to collaboratively advancing the potential of domestic investments for national development, reinforcing Uganda’s position as an attractive investment destination.
